On September 7 at 9:30PM, Prince William County Police officers responded to investigate an assault that was reported to have occurred at a residence located in the 2900 block of Seminole Rd. in Woodbridge (22192) sometime between March 13 and April 1, 2020.

On September 4, the suspect sought in connection to the series of commercial burglaries and attempted burglaries which were reported to have occurred in the Dumfries (22025) and Woodbridge (22193) areas on the morning of August 2, was arrested. Members of the Fairfax County Police Department located the suspect, Davian Malik MCKINNIE, and took him into custody.

Moped, a generator, an Outback RV, and two car batteries were reported missing.were reported missing in a burglary in Gainesville Sept. 3.

During the investigation into the shooting that was reported to have occurred in the 1600 block of Florida Ave. in Woodbridge (22191) on Friday, Aug. 26, 2021, detectives with the Prince William County Police Department Violent Crimes Bureau identified the suspect as Zeven Raamel DEYO and obtained warrants for his arrest.

In one incident, several rounds struck the front of the home and multiple rounds entered the home. In three other incidents victims told police a gun was brandished.

According to the weekly business news magazine, Virginia Business, Amazon.com Inc. has announced it plans to open a 200,000-square-foot delivery station in Stafford County in September.
This coming Saturday, September 11, Occoquan's VFW Post 7916 will hold a 20th anniversary commemoration of 9/11 in Mamie Davis Park, located at 202 Washington Street in historic Occoquan. The ceremony will begin at 9:45 a.m.
The Atlantic hurricane season continues through Nov. 30. Conditions still exist for an above-average hurricane season, according to the annual mid-season update from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration Climate Prediction Center, a division of the National Weather Service. There’s still time to obtain flood insurance coverage before the end of the season, says the Virginia Department of Conservation and Recreation (DCR) that oversees flood protection in Virginia.
