PWC Police make arrest in connection with Jan. 9. 2025 shooting.

On Monday, Sept. 20, 2021 at 4:22AM, Prince William County Police officers responded to the Food Lion located at 12420 Dillingham Sq. in the Lake Ridge area of Woodbridge (22192) to investigate an alarm activation.

On Saturday, Sept. 18, 2021 at 10:39AM, Prince William County Police officers responded to investigate a shots fired call that was reported to have occurred in the area of Beacon Ridge Dr. and Jefferson Davis Hwy. in Woodbridge (22191) at approximately 11:00PM on Sept. 17.

Upon turning around, the victim observed an unknown woman and two unknown men, one of whom was brandishing a knife towards him. During the altercation, the suspects attempted to take the victim’s property before bystanders intervened.

Businesses in Prince William County must now complete and file an annual recycling report with the Department of Public Works by Oct. 15 each year. Code changes that took effect in January 2021 moved the reporting deadline from Feb. 15 to Oct. 15. Homes businesses and businesses based in incorporated towns are exempt.

U.S. Senator Mark R. Warner and Senator Tim Kaine are cosponsoring a bipartisan bill to award a posthumous Congressional Gold Medal to the 13 American servicemembers who lost their lives during the terrorist attack in Kabul, Afghanistan on August 26th .

The victim, a 59-year-old man, reported to police that he was in the above area to pick up a fare. An unknown man, later identified as the accused, entered the victim’s vehicle carrying a knife and brandished a firearm.

Aggravated Malicious Wounding – On Friday, Sept. 10 at 1:56PM, Prince William County Police officers responded to the Barrington Apartments located in the 10600 block of Blendia Ln. in Manassas (20109) to investigate a shooting.

On Sunday, Sept. 12, at 2:54PM, Prince William County Police Department officers responded to the 13900 block of Jefferson Davis Hwy in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a robbery. The 24-tear-old male victim reported to police that he was talking to a group of unknown men when he began to walk away.
