Prince William County Police are investigating two incidents late last week after gunshots were reported - One call was about Norfolk Drive in Manassas, the other concerned a blue two-door Cadillac near Alps Dr. & Minnieville Rd. in Woodbridge.
The National Weather Service has issued coastal flood warnings from 6:00 p.m. this evening through 8 a.m. Saturday with the possibility of 2 to 4 feet of inundation above ground during high tide in low-lying areas along the tidal Potomac River and its tributaries. Storms thus have the potential to affect the Occoquan waterfront. Additionally, heavy rain on Friday may lead to road closures associated with flash flooding from streams that enter Town.

On Oct. 26, 2021 at 11:13PM, Prince William County Police officers responded to the 1900 block of Winslow Ct. in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a shots fired call. Residents reported to police that multiple shots were fired in the area before a vehicle was observed driving away.

On Wednesday, Oct.27, 2021 at 10:49PM, officers from the Prince William County Police Department responded to investigate an assault that was reported to have occurred in the 13900 block of Jefferson Davis Hwy. in Woodbridge (22191) earlier that evening.

As the victim walked near the men, one of them grabbed and pinned him against a light-colored SUV. One of the men then brandished a knife before taking the victim’s money. The victim was able to temporarily separate from the suspects before they chased him on foot into a nearby neighborhood where a woman intervened.

The victim, a 23-year-old woman, reported to police that while she was working at the above location, four acquaintances, two women and two men, entered the business and demanded her personal property.

While canvassing the area, PWC Police officers made contact with a man, later identified as the accused, who was determined to have fired multiple rounds before placing the firearm in his coat pocket.

The victim, a 44-year-old woman, reported to PWC police that while in a parking lot in the 5500 block of Staples Mill Rd., Woodbridge., she observed an unknown man, later identified as the accused, exposing himself.
