Gov. Glenn Youngkin joined Prince William County government officials, executives from American Type Culture Collection (ATCC), the Virginia Secretary of Commerce and Trade Caren Merrick, and on Thursday, Sept. 12 to break ground on ATCC’s new state-of-the-art biosafety laboratory in Brentsville District. The non-profit plans to invest $54.6 million to build the new laboratory and create 75 new jobs, with an average annual salary of $92,933.
Beginning today, Thursday, Sept. 12, the newest section of University Boulevard between Edmonston Drive and Sudley Manor Drive is finished and ready for use.

Coles Supervisor Yesli Vega reports that Tuesday's work session on Sept. 10, 2024, the Prince William Board of County Supervisors unanimously voted to extend the payment deadline for individual Personal Property Tax from Oct. 7th, to Dec. 5th, 2024, which is the same day the Real Estate Tax is due.
