The tribal agreement reduces fire risk, restores oak forests, improves wildlife habitat, creates early successional habitat, promotes cultural tourism and recreation, and reduces risk to tribal trust lands. Most similar tribal agreements involve lands in th western US.

The charming small town of Clifton, tucked into a Fairfax County hamlet near Manassas and Centreville in Fairfax County, will be a-buzz this coming Saturday, Dec. 3, with a Horse Parade at 1 p.m., Arts & Craft Show from 2 to 7 p.m. and a Historic Homes Tour from 4 to 7 p.m. The parade and arts & craft show are free with $29 admission for the homes tour.

On Friday, November 23, 2022 at 6:05PM, investigators with the Prince William County Police Department's Crash Investigation Unit responded to the area of the Prince William Pkwy near Crooked Knoll Way in Manassas (20112) to investigate a crash involving a pedestrian.

On Saturday, Nov. 26. 2022, at 7:26 a.m. Prince William County fire and rescue units were dispatched to the 3600 block of Dalhgreen Place (Dumfries) for a report of a person trapped inside a townhouse on fire, according to Matt Smolsky, deputy fire chief. A second alarm was requested with the report of a person trapped. Cause of fire under investigation.
