PWC Police make arrest in connection with Jan. 9. 2025 shooting.
Several businesses and residents have reported receiving calls from solicitors who claim to be contacting them on behalf of the Manassas City Police Department. The solicitors try to sell items or request funds for various public safety programs.
Prince William County Fire & Rescue reported it is investigating the cause of an April 27 fire on Nimitz Court in Manassas. Four people were displaced and damage was estimated at $240,000. No one was hurt.
Gravely Elementary School in Haymarket got a pat on the back when VA Delegate David Ramadan presented a copy of House Resolution No. 557 applauding the school for its commitment to students.
Delegate Tim Hugo has called a press conference for 2 p.m. on Monday, April 29, at US 29 & VA 234 in the vicinity of the Stone House at Manassas National Battlefield Park to discuss a proposed north/south transportation project. Several other legislators are expected to join him.
Three Manassas city police officers were commended for valor and a master detective was commended for investigative work during an awards ceremony held by the Prince William Chamber of Commerce April 24.
