Prince William County Delegate Rich Anderson (R-51), participating for his fourth consecutive time as an instructor in the American Legion Boys State program, spoke on "Virginia Government - Origins to Today" at Radford University on June 17.
On June 13, Fire and Rescue units from the City of Manassas responded to a call for service at a local urgent care facility. A 44-year-old male patient came to the facility around 2 p.m. seeking treatment for severe chest pain and needed to be transported to a hospital emergency room.

Congressman Rob Wittman (R-1) who represents part of Prince William County and who is chairman of the House Armed Services Readiness Subcommittee issued this statement after the House voted to pass the Fiscal Year 2014 National Defense Authorization Act (H.R. 1960) by a vote of 315-108.

Prince William County VA police department's crime report for Friday, June 14, 2013 include an armed robbery and abduction in Woodbridge at Wytestone Suites, an armed robbery at a 7-11 in Gainesville and an armed robbery in Board Run.

Prince William County Police Department's crime report for Thursday, June 13, 2013 includes arrest of two 13-year-old males and a 15-year-old in connection with a grand larceny-auto and arrest of a 14-year-old in connection with a grand larceny-auto. There were two armed robberies and a vicious dog attack.
On June 12, 2013 at approximately 8:45 p.m., Lyle Foster, III was located by a family member along Wellington Rd near Dean Dr in Manassas. He had been missing since the morning of June 10. Foster is under medical evaluation as he recovers from non-life-threatening ailments.
A potentially significant wind and rain event is forecasted for much of the state today. Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) crews are ready across the commonwealth and will respond to any hazardous traveling conditions resulting from strong winds and heavy rain, which are expected to impact Virginia.
Despite long-held plans to celebrate Patriot High School's first graduation on Thursday, in the high school's stadium on Kettle Run Road in Nokesville, the weather might demand other arrangements.
Principal Dr. Michael E. Bishop said the graduation organizers have crafted a “Plan B” and are even formulating “Plan C” to cope with whatever the weather will bring. And I know Patriot families can handle the change and celebrate in style.
