PWC Police make arrest in connection with Jan. 9. 2025 shooting.
Virginia Board of Education voted this week to increase the minimum acceptable scores on assessments required for entry into teacher-preparation programs and state licensure. The board also ended the practice of allowing would-be teachers to rely on composite scores.

Prince William County VA police department's crime report for Wednesday, June 26 includes the arrest of a 32-year-old man charged with aggravated sexual battery and taking indecent liberties by a custodian in a case involving two little girls, ages 3 and 4 and a reckless handling of a firearm charge in a case involving a man, a shotgun and a neighborhood party in the Cherry Hill Road area of Dumfries.
