Manassas National Battlefield Park was among seven national parks in Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia and the District of Columbiathat donated more than 12,000 pounds of venison to local nonprofit organizations that will serve approximately 48,000 meals to families in need. Manassas donated 1710 pounds according to a news release.

PWC jury returns “guilty’ verdict in 2021 aggravated malicious wounding case

On April 7, 2023, a Prince William County jury found Cody Dale Davis guilty of one count of Aggravated Malicious Wounding. The jury deliberated for approximately ten minutes before returning the verdict of guiltyy, according to a news release issued by the office of Amy Ashworth, Commonwealth's Attorney. The Defendant faces a maximum term of imprisonment of life in prison and a fine of not more than $100,000.
