In support of national Take Your Child to Work Day, children ages 17 and younger can ride any OmniRide bus for free on Thursday, April 25. Great news! OmniRide Local and Metro Express are already currently free and will be until at least June. Children can ride any OmniRide Express commuter bus for free on this day, which currently costs $9 one way, when accompanied by a paying adult!
Virginia will be among 15 states, from Maine to Florida, participating in “Drive to Save Lives” traffic initiative along Interstate 95, this weekend April 19-21. Virginia State Police will be utilizing additional patrol resources on all 179 miles of Interstate 95, April is National Distracted Driving Awareness Month.
