When people come to Haymarket Day, they get hungry.
Visitors to the 23rd annual Haymarket Day, Sept. 17, will be walking down Washington Street and watching as the parade strolls by from 9:30 until about 11 a.m. They’ll likely see familiar faces of family, neighbors and friends. They’ll also see local restaurants on this path opening their doors to hungry visitors ready to chow down on some good, local eats.
Streets will be full on Haymarket Day, Sept. 17. Ideally, this will help fill the shelves at the Haymarket Regional Food Pantry, which will be open and taking nonperishable and monetary donations throughout the day Sept. 17.
