VDOT update at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 4, 2025 on approaching snow storm

Northern Virginia District crews will pretreat interstates, primaries, and high-volume secondary roads, along with bridges, ramps, and overpasses with salt brine today. Crews will start staging on area roads Sunday morning and will begin treatment as snow begins Sunday evening and night.
