It is getting dark earlier each day which means it is more difficult for drivers to see pedestrians and bicycle riders--especially the ones who wear dark coats. Prince William Police urge drivers to drive more carefully and pay extra attention to be on the outlook for pedestrians and bike riders,

Taxpayers are encouraged to pay their taxes before the Dec. 5 due date. A late payment penalty of 10 percent will apply to any unpaid tax balance after the Dec. 5 deadline. Additionally, interest will accrue monthly on unpaid balances at a rate of 10 percent per annum until they are fully paid.
