Woodbridge High School band concerts include food drive for ACTS

Woodbridge Senior High School symphonic, concert and varsity bands and the percussion ensemble invite the community to join them for a holiday concert on Thursday, Dec. 15, at 7:30 p.m. in the auditorium. The school is at 3001 Old Bridge Road in Lake Ridge.

Admission is free; however, everyone is asked to bring a non-perishable food item to benefit Action in the Community Through Service (ACTS). The student performers will be donating non-perishable food items as well.

Mark Carder, WSHS director of bands, said the students and faculty hope that the community will attend the concert to show its support for music students at the high school as well as benefit ACTS. “We thank the community for its support, and we hope to see everyone at the concert,” he was quoted as saying in a news release.
