Meet other mothers at Moms Club open house

The Lake Ridge Moms Club will hold an open house on Thursday, Sept. 8, at 7:30 p.m., at the Tall Oaks Community Center in Lake Ridge. The club is a group of moms that provides a fun, welcoming place for parents and kids to make friends, learn new skills, and get involved in the community, according to Kerry Coleman-Proksch, club president.

Each month, there is general meeting to discuss upcoming activities, hear speakers talk about topics important to families, see programs to learn a new skill, or time to socialize and have fun.  Membership meetings are held the first Thursday of every month at 7:30 p.m. at the Tall Oaks Community Center.
