Prince William County Government will conduct a Veterans Day ceremony at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 11 at the county’s Freedom Park Memorial near 5 County Complex Court, Woodbridge.
Bugler Donna Floory will open and close the program. Prince William Joint Color Guard will present and retire the colors. Ann Wheeler, chair at large of the Board of County Supervisors, will welcome participants and spectators. Army Sgt. Justice Lewis will sing the National Anthem.
Wheeler along with Navy Commander Tom Gordy, chair of the county’s Veterans Commission, and Retired Army CSM Victor Angry, the Neabsco District Supervisor, will speak.
Retired Army Col. Dr. Vanessa Gattis and Cheryl Lamar of the county’s Veterans Commission, will present the wreath.
