Victim ran into the bathroom where she locked herself in and contacted the police

Abduction | Domestic Related – On Sunday, Oct. 31, 2021 at 10:35PM, Prince William County Police officers responded to The Elms at Signal Hill Station apartments located in the 8200 block of Handsome Joe Ln. in Manassas (20111) to investigate a domestic with weapons. Upon arriving at the home, officers observed a man, later identified as the accused, inside the apartment near a locked bathroom door and detained him. The investigation revealed that during a verbal altercation, the accused pushed the victim, a 64-year-old woman, before retrieving a knife. The victim ran into the bathroom where she locked herself in and contacted the police.
The accused followed the victim and struck the bathroom door with the knife multiple times, preventing the victim from leaving the room. No injuries were reported.
While investigating, officers determined the accused was in possession of a firearm after having been convicted of a felony. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as David Marsden LOGAN, was arrested.
