Seen on video: Male suspect in black Halloween mask atempts to enter Haymarket home

Attempted Residential Burglary – On Sunday, Oct. 31, 2021 at 10:40PM, Prince William County Police officers responded to a residence located in the 15100 block of Fog Mountain Cl. in Haymarket (20169) to investigate an attempted burglary. The homeowner reported to police that earlier that evening an alarm notification was received that there was someone in the rear of the residence.

Upon checking the area, the homeowner did not observe anyone. Video surveillance footage revealed that an unknown individual approached the rear of the residence and attempted to enter the home through the back door which was found secured. No entry was made into the residence and property was reported missing.
Suspect Description:
A light-skinned male, approximately 15-20 years of age, 5’10”, about 180lbs., with short dark hair Last seen wearing a black Halloween mask, light colored sweatshirt, sweatpants, and black/grey shoes carrying a backpack and a firearm

Attempted Residential Burglary – On Monday, Nov. 1, 2021 at 11:28AM, Prince William County Police officers responded to a residence located in the 2700 block of Celestial Dr. in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate an attempted burglary. The homeowner reported to police that damage was observed to the front door of the residence. The investigation revealed no entry was made into the home and no property was reported missing.
