Strangulation | Abduction | Domestic Related – On Monday, Oct.18, 2021 at 11:51PM, Prince William County Police Department officers responded to the Haven Woodbridge Apartments located in the 13900 block of Longwood Manor Ct. in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a domestic.
Upon arriving at the apartment, Public Information Officer MPO Renee Carr said that officers located the victim, a 28-year-old woman, suffering from injuries to her face.
According to Carr’s report, the investigation revealed that the victim and a family member, identified as the accused, were involved in a verbal altercation that escalated when the accused grabbed the victim and forced her against the wall. During the encounter, the accused also threw the victim on the floor before grabbing her throat and preventing her from leaving the room.
At some point, the accused observed police outside the apartment and fled with the victim’s phone. The victim left the apartment where she encountered officers. The victim reported minor injuries. Following the investigation, officers obtained arrest warrants for the accused, identified as Brandon Kristoff HUTSON. Attempts to locate the accused have been unsuccessful.

Brandon Kristoff HUTSON, 29, of no fixed address
Described as a black male, 5’10”, 176lbs., with black hair, brown eyes, and multiple tattoos
Charged with abduction, strangulation, preventing the summoning of law enforcement, and
domestic assault & battery
