Maryland Police arrest suspect from Woodbridge in connection with shooting incident last February

Reckless Handling of a Firearm *ADDITIONAL ARREST –
On Friday, Oct. 1, 2021 the second suspect Prince William County police had been seeking in connection with a Feb. 11, 2021 shooting that was reported to have occurred in the 13600 block of Kitty Hawk Way in Woodbridge (22191)  was arrested. The suspect, Jerrod Marquis GALLOWAY, was located in College Park, MD and taken into custody by members of the Maryland State Police. An additional suspect was previously arrested in connection to this investigation on May 6, 2021.
Arrested on Oct. 1:
Jerrod Marquis GALLOWAY, 27, of 2804 Woodmark Dr. in Woodbridge
Charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon
Court Date: Pending | Status: Awaiting extradition

Reckless Handling of a Firearm *ARREST | WANTED SUSPECT [Previously Released] – On Feb. 14, 2021 Prince William County Police officers identified the suspects sought in connection to the shooting that was reported to have occurred in the 13600 block of Kitty Hawk Way in Woodbridge (22191) on Feb.11, 2021. The investigation revealed that a shot was fired through the floor of an apartment travelled through the ceiling of the apartment below and became embedded in the floor. While investigating, officers located evidence of the sale of suspected illegal narcotics within the suspect’s apartment.
Following the investigation, officers obtained arrest warrants for two suspects, identified as Keyonte Montel CORNELIUS and Jerrod Marquis GALLOWAY. On May 6, the CORNELIUS suspect was located in Stafford County and taken into custody by members of the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force.
Attempts to locate the GALLOWAY suspect have been unsuccessful.

Reckless Handling of a Firearm [Previously Released] – On Feb. 11, 2021 at 7:54PM, officers responded to the Woodbridge Station Apartments located in the 13600 block of Kitty Hawk Way in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a shots fired call. A resident reported to police that while inside his apartment he heard a gunshot just before a hole appeared in his ceiling. Shortly after, three unknown individuals were seen fleeing from the apartment building. No injuries or additional property damage were reported. The investigation continues.
