Woodbridge man charged with strangulation and assault and battery

UPDATE Strangulation | Assault & Battery *ARREST – On August 13, the suspect sought in connection to the assault that was reported have occurred at a residence located in the13200 block of Keystone Dr in Woodbridge (22193) Oct. 5-6, 2020 was arrested. The suspect, Joseph FAMIGILITTI, III, was taken into custody without incident, according to a report from Master Police Officer Renee Carr, pubic information officer for Prince William County Police Department.

Strangulation | Assault & Battery [Previously Released] – On August 11 at 2:28PM, officers responded to investigate an assault that was reported to have occurred at a residence located in the 13200 block of Keystone Dr in Woodbridge (22193) Oct. 5-6, 2020. The investigation revealed that the victim, a 33-year-old woman, and an acquaintance, identified as the accused, were involved in an altercation at the home. During the encounter, the accused pushed the victim and placed his forearm on the victim’s neck. The parties eventually separated and other members of the home assisted the victim in leaving the residence. The victim reported the incident to police recently. The victim reported injuries at the time of the assault. Following the investigation, officers obtained arrest warrants for the accused, identified as Joseph FAMIGILITTI, III. Attempts to locate the accused have been unsuccessful.
