Shooting into a Residential Dwelling *ADDITIONAL SUSPECT | WANTED – Detectives with the Prince William County Police Department’s Violent Crimes Unit have identified a third man in connection to the shooting that was reported to have occurred in the 2700 block of Yosocomico Ln. in Woodbridge (22191) on June 17.
According to First Sgt. Jonathan Perok, public information officer for the police department, following the investigation, detectives obtained arrest warrants for that suspect, identified as Jerell Joseph BLAKEY, Jr. Attempts to locate the suspect have been unsuccessful. Two other men were previously arrested in connection to the incident.

Jerell Joseph BLAKEY, Jr., 22, of the 12100 block of Colby Dr in Woodbridge
Described as a black male, 5’9”, 265lbs with black hair and brown eyes
Wanted for attempted malicious wounding and use of a firearm in commission of a felony
Shooting into a Residential Dwelling *ARREST [Previously Released] – On July 27, detectives with the Violent Crimes Unit concluded the investigation into the shooting that was reported to have occurred in the 2700 block of Yosocomico Ln. in Woodbridge (22191) on June 17. During the investigation, detectives identified one of the suspects involved in the shooting as Wilson DOSWELL IV and, on July 15, warrants were obtained for his arrest. On July 27, DOSWELL IV and another man were observed by members of the U.S. Marshals Task Fugitive Force getting into a vehicle in the Dumfries area.
The Task Force members made contact with both men who were detained without incident. During the encounter, DOSWELL IV was taken into custody and found in possession of a firearm. The other occupant of the vehicle, identified as, Sirr MORRIS-HELMS, was also found in possession of a concealed firearm and was taken into custody. The investigation continues as detectives seek to identify the other suspects involved in the initial incident.
Shooting into a Residential Dwelling [Previously Released] – On June 17 at 6:15PM, officers responded to the Riverwood Apartments located in the 2700 block of Yosocomico Ln. in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate an initial report of shots fired. Residents reported to police that gunshots were heard before parties dispersed, leaving the area on foot and in vehicles.
The investigation revealed that a group of individuals were near a shed on George Page Pl. when gunfire was exchanged with another group of individuals who were near the playground on Yosocomico Ln. Both groups dispersed following the gunshots, including one suspect who was observed walking away while carrying a firearm. While investigating, officers were informed that a round entered an occupied residence, grazing a 9-year-old girl. Rescue personnel responded and treated the victim at the scene for minor injuries.
While canvassing the area, officers located an unoccupied parked car and a tree that sustained damage consistent with being struck by projectiles. Multiple shell casings were located in the above areas where the groups were observed. No additional injuries or property damage were reported.
