Lake Ridge man charged with abduction and domestic assault and battery

Abduction | Domestic Related – On July 11 at 10:30PM, Prince William County Police officers responded to a residence located in the 12200 block of Oakwood Dr. in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate a domestic. The victim, a 49-year-old woman, reported to police that she and a family member, identified as the accused, were involved in a verbal altercation that escalated.

According to Master Police Officer Renee Carr, public information officer,On more than one occasion during the encounter, the accused grabbed the victim’s arms and prevented her from leaving. The accused also struck the victim before another family member intervened and the parties separated. No injuries were reported. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as Patrick MCNEAL, was arrested.
