Police officer separates victim and acquaintance during altercation at hospital in Woodbridge
Abduction | Assault & Battey – On May 5 at 8:20AM, Prince William County Police officers responded to the Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center located at 2300 Opitz Blvd. in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate an assault.
The victim, a 19-year-old woman, reported to police that she and an acquaintance, identified as the accused, were involved in an altercation in the above area. At one point, the accused grabbed the victim and prevented her from leaving. An officer, who was at the hospital for an unrelated matter, observed the encounter and separated the parties. No injuries were reported. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as Josue Alvarez RUBIO, was arrested.
