Firing of multiple gunshots in nearby areas of Manassas said to be unrelated

Reckless Handling – On May 6 at 12:01AM, Prince William County Police officers responded to the El Establo Bar and Grill located at 7911Centreville Rd. in Manassas (20111) to investigate a shots fired call. A witness reported to police that an unknown man was observed walking into a nearby parking lot and firing multiple gunshots into the air before fleeing the area in a vehicle. No injuries or property damage were reported.

Reckless Handling – On May 5 at 11:18PM, Prince William County Police officers were near the 8200 block of Spruce St. in Manassas (20111) on an unrelated incident when they heard multiple gunshots nearby. Residents reported to police that they observed the occupants of two vehicles stopped on Spruce St. and engaged in a verbal altercation. At one point, gunshots were fired before both vehicles, a black sedan and a silver sedan, fled the area prior to police arrival. No injuries or property damage were reported. Shell casings were collected from the roadway.
