Assault on emergency medical workers at Patient First in Lake Ridge

Assault and Battery of Emergency Medical Services [EMS] Personnel – On Sunday, Feb. 21 at 5:01PM, officers from the Prince William County Police Department responded to the Patient First health clinic located at 2199 Old Bridge Rd. in the Lake Ridge area of Woodbridge (22192) to investigate an assault. According to MPO Renee Carr, the police department’s public information officer, the investigation revealed that while being evaluated, the accused man assaulted EMS personnel without provocation. During the encounter, several EMS members were kicked or struck before police arrived at the clinic.

The accused, identified as John Sungsoo KIM, was arrested.

Death Investigation – Officers from the Prince William County Police Department responded at 4:52AM today, Feb. 23, to the Prince William-Manassas Adult Detention Center (ADC) at 9320 Lee Ave., Manassas (20110), to investigate the death of an inmate, according to MPO Renee Carr, public information officer. The investigation revealed that an inmate, identified as a 26-year-old man, was located unresponsive by another inmate inside his cell.

Medical staff responded and provided first aid until fire and rescue personnel arrived. The inmate was pronounced dead at the ADC. The deceased was transported to the Medical Examiner’s Office for autopsy. No foul play is suspected at this time. The investigation continues.

The deceased was identified as Mohammad Ekram SHERDIL, 26, of Woodbridge

Shooting into a Residential Dwelling – On Monday, Feb. 22 at 7:15PM, officers from the Prince William County Police Department responded to the Orchard Mills Apartments located in the 3200 block of Blazer Lp. in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate a shots fired call.

The investigation revealed that shots were fired from a dark colored vehicle that stopped in front of an apartment building in the above area. While investigating, officers located an 18-year-old man, who was transported to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Two occupied apartments sustained damage consistent with being struck by projectiles. No additional injuries or property damage were reported. There is no suspect description at this time. The investigation continues.

Commercial Burglary – On Tuesday, Feb. 23 at 3:45AM, county police officers responded to the Exxon service station at 13505 Minnieville Rd. in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate a burglary. The investigation revealed that entry was made into the business through the front glass door which was found damaged.

Video surveillance footage revealed that an unknown man used a metal object to shatter the door before making entry into the business where he was observed taking tobacco products and the cash register. The suspect fled the area on foot. The investigation continues.

Strangulation | Domestic Related –
On Feb. 22 at 1:24AM, Prince William County police officers responded to a residence located in the 1800 block of Tiger Lily Cl. in the Lake Ridge area of Woodbridge (22192) to investigate a domestic. The victim, a 20-year-old woman, reported to police that she and an acquaintance, identified as the accused, were involved in a verbal altercation that escalated.

During the encounter, the accused threw the victim on the floor and grabbed her throat. The victim attempted to separate from the accused when he struck her in the head–causing her to temporarily lose consciousness. After regaining consciousness, the victim fled the residence and contacted the police. The victim reported minor injuries. As officers went to detain the accused, he refused to follow the officers’ commands and actively resisted.
After a brief struggle, the accused was taken into custody without further incident. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as Enyel Eduardo CARCAMO-MOLINA, was arrested.

Brandishing a Firearm – On Sunday, Feb. 21 at 3:30PM, Prince William County police officers responded to the Regency Apartment Complex located in the 11200 block of Partnership Ln. in Manassas (20109) to investigate a brandishing.

The victim, a 31-year-old man, reported to police that he was in the parking lot of the above area when a vehicle pulled up behind him. At one point during the encounter, a verbal altercation ensued between the victim and the accused. While the accused was inside her vehicle, she retrieved a firearm and brandished it towards the victim. The parties eventually separated, and the victim contacted the police. No shots were fired during the encounter.

Following the investigation, officers obtained an arrest warrant for the accused, identified as Crystal Lee WALKER, who was served later that evening.
