Police arrest suspect in Nov. 22 robbery of Manassas 7-Eleven

Armed Robbery *ARREST – On Tuesday, Dec. 8, the suspect sought in connection to the armed robbery that was reported to have occurred at the 7-Eleven located at 7500 Cushing Rd. in Manassas (20109) on Nov. 22, was arrested.

Detectives identified the accused, Justin Ahkheem BUNN, on Nov. 22 and obtained arrest warrants. On Dec. 8, the accused was located and taken into custody by members of the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force in Prince George’s County, Maryland. The suspect will remain incarcerated in Maryland until extradited back to Prince William County.

Charged with robbery, attempted malicious wounding, and preventing the summoning of law enforcement

Armed Robbery [Previously Released] – On Nov. 22 at 6:22AM, officers responded to the 7-Eleven at 7500 Cushing Rd. in Manassas (20109) to investigate a robbery. An employee reported to police that a masked man entered the store, selected a grocery item, and approached the counter to pay. When the register opened, the suspect lunged towards the employee with a knife before grabbing cash out of the register. The suspect also took the employee’s cell phone, preventing the employee from contacting law enforcement, before fleeing on foot. The employee briefly followed the suspect from the store and retrieved his cell phone from the ground after observing the suspect throw it. No injuries were reported. The investigation continues.
