Woodbridge mom of three charged with child abuse

Arrests
Felony Child Neglect | Possession of a Controlled Substance – On Sunday, July 26 at 8:48PM, Prince William County Police officers responded to a residence located in the Woodbridge (22191) area of Prince William County to investigate a child neglect. A witness reported to police that the resident, later identified as the accused, appeared intoxicated and not able to care for her children.

Officers arrived and observed the same behavior and determined the accused was under the influence of narcotics. While investigating, officers located suspected narcotics within the residence. The accused was detained without incident.

The children, a 6-year-old boy, a 5-year-old boy and a 4-month old girl, were not injured and turned over to a family member. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as Justina Gabrielle SHARP, was arrested.
