Brandishing of a Firearm *SUSPECT IDENTIFIED – On April 15, 2020 Prince William County police officers received information identifying the suspect sought in connection to the brandishing that was reported to have occurred at the Holiday Inn Express located at 10810 Battleview Pkwy. in Manassas (20109) on April 12. Following the investigation, detectives obtained warrants for the arrest of the suspect, identified as Joseph Javier FLORES-ASENCIO. Attempts to locate the suspect have been unsuccessful.
Wanted: Joseph Javier FLORES-ASENCIO, 21, of the 22300 block of St. Louis Rd. in Middleburg
Described as a white male, 5’10”, 250lbs., with black hair and brown eyes
Wanted for brandishing and felon in possession of a firearm
Brandishing of a Firearm [Previously Released] – On April 12, 2020 at 1:35AM, Prince William County officers responded to the Holiday Inn Express located at 10810 Battleview Pkwy. in Manassas (20109) to investigate a brandishing. The victim, an occupant of the hotel, reported to police that while in the hallway, he was approached by a group of unknown men. During the encounter, one of the men brandished a handgun towards the victim and made threats before forcing the victim to walk outside. While in the parking lot, the suspect entered a light colored 4-door sedan and immediately drove away. The victim went back inside the hotel where the police were contacted. No injuries were reported, and no rounds were fired. The investigation continues.
