Police report two women in fight in Manassas; one taken to hospital; one arrested

Malicious Wounding – On January 10 at 4:01PM, Prince William County police officers responded to a parking lot located in the 8300 block of Sudley Rd. in Manassas (20109) to investigate a fight. The victim, a 23-year-old woman, reported to police that she and an acquaintance, identified as the accused, were involved in a verbal altercation that escalated.
During the encounter, the accused struck the victim in the head multiple times with a blunt object. The parties eventually separated, and the accused fled prior to police arriving in the area. The victim reported significant injuries and was transported to a local hospital for treatment. Following the investigation, officers identified and obtained warrants for the arrest of the accused. Later that evening, the accused, identified as Megan Aubrey CANDELARIA, was located and taken into custody by Fairfax County Police.
