Suspect turns himself in in abduction and domestic assault and battery case

Abduction | Domestic Assault & Battery *ARREST – On Dec.29, the suspect sought in connection to the abduction that was reported to have occurred in the 2800 block of Beechtree Ln. in Woodbridge (22191) on Dec. 22, was arrested. The accused, Kevin Venard EVANS II, turned himself in to the police without incident.

Abduction | Domestic Assault & Battery [Previously Released] – On December 22 at 6:53PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 2800 block of Beechtree Ln. in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a domestic. The victim, a 33-year-old woman, reported to police that a family member, identified as the accused, entered her home without permission. When the victim attempted to contact the police, the accused took her phone. The victim then attempted to flee the residence when the accused grabbed her by the neck and dragged her back into the home. The accused fled the scene on foot after the victim began calling out for help. The victim reported minor injuries. In addition, the accused violated a current protective order for picking up their child. Following the investigation, officers obtained arrest warrants for the accused, identified as Kevin Venard EVANS II. Attempts to locate the accused have been unsuccessful.
