Bristow man charged with charged with strangulation and domestic assault & battery

Strangulation | Domestic Assault & Battery – On Saturday, Dec. 28 at 11 p.m., Prince William County police officers responded to a residence located in the 12100 block of Wallower Way in Bristow (20136) to investigate a domestic. The victim, a 50-year-old woman, reported to police that she and an acquaintance, identified as the accused, were involved in a verbal altercation that escalated. During the encounter, the accused pushed the victim to the ground and put his hands around her neck. The parties separated and the victim contacted the police. The victim reported minor injuries. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as Evans MEZA, was arrested.
