Friday, the 13th allegedly not a good day for Emergency Medical Services worker at Detention Center

Assault & Battery on Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Personnel – On Dec. 13 at 3:30PM, Prince William County Police officers were at the Adult Detention Center (ADC) located at 9320 Lee Ave. in Manassas (20110) with the accused who was arrested for public intoxication. The investigation revealed that the accused became disorderly and refused to follow officers’ commands upon arriving at the ADC. After a brief struggle, the accused was re-secured and taken into the building. While inside the facility, the accused continued to act disorderly and was being evaluated by rescue personnel when she kicked one of the members in the lower body. The EMS personnel member reported minor injuries. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as Sharon Marie MAYNARD, was arrested.
