Loss Prevention Officer struck as shoplifting suspects flee from Target in Manassas

Strong-Arm Robbery – On November 2 at 4:26PM, Prince William County Police officers responded to the Target located at 9900 Sowder Village Sq in Manassas (20109) to investigate a shoplifting.

A Loss Prevention Officer reported to police that two women entered the store pushing a baby stroller. The women then proceeded to the woman’s section where they selected clothing items that were placed in the stroller. The women then made a purchase for a separate item before proceeding out of the store.

The Loss Prevention Officer confronted the women near the entrance and attempted to detain them. During the encounter, an altercation ensued and one of the women struck the employee before running to the parking lot and fleeing in an unknown vehicle. No injuries were reported. The women were not located. Both were only described as white females with long black hair.
