Two charged with assault on law enforcement officers in separate weekend incidents

Assault & Battery on a Law Enforcement Officer [LEO] – On November 3 at 9:22AM, officers responded to a residence located in the 10000 block of Naughton Ct. in Bristow (20136) to investigate a domestic.

During the investigation, one of the residents, identified as the accused, became disorderly. When officers attempted to detain the accused, he refused to follow commands and actively resisted. After a brief struggle, the accused was detained. The accused reported minor injuries and was ground transported to an area hospital for treatment. While at the hospital, the accused kicked an officer and made threats. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as Omer Kawa MURADI, was arrested.

Assault & Battery on a Law Enforcement Officer [LEO] – On November 2 at 9:00PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 14700 block of Candlewood Ct. in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a domestic.

During the investigation, officers identified one of the residents as having an outstanding arrest warrant for an unrelated incident and placed him under arrest. While officers searched the accused, he actively resisted and kicked an officer. After a brief struggle, the accused was detained without further incident.

After being placed inside of the marked police cruiser, the accused became disorderly and proceeded to bang his own head against the interior of the vehicle. The officers secured the accused without further incident. Minor self-inflicted injuries were reported by the accused who was transported to an area hospital for treatment. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as Jared Trevone MUSGROVE, was arrested.
