Victim hospitalized after shooting in Manassas Oct. 20
Shooting Investigation
On October 29, 2019 at approximately 12:30 p.m., officers responded to the area of Leighton Pl for a report of a shooting. One victim was transported to a local area hospital. One person is being detained for possibly being connected to the incident. At this time, the incident does not appear random. The investigation is on-going.
More information will be released as it becomes available, according to Sarah Maroney, Crime Prevention Specialist/Public Information Officer, Manassas City Police Department.
