Duo in white car sought in daytime robbery of man, 21, out walking in Dale City area

Armed Robbery – On October 19 at 1:29PM, officers responded to the 15200 block of Brickwood Dr. in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate a robbery.

The victim, a 21-year-old man, reported to police that he was walking in the above area when a white vehicle approached. As the unknown female driver of the vehicle spoke to the victim, an unknown male passenger exited the vehicle and brandished a handgun towards the victim while demanding his property.

Once the suspect took the victim’s property, he fled on foot while the female driver fled the area in the vehicle. The victim reported his cell phone, personal paperwork and an undisclosed amount of money was taken. No injuries were reported. The investigation continues.

Suspect Descriptions:
A White male, 5’7”, 170lbs., with black hair, a black mustache, last seen wearing a black puffy jacket, ripped jeans and shoes.
A white female is the only description provided for the driver,

Armed Robbery – On October 19 at 8:25PM, officers responded to the area near the 16900 block of Old Stage Rd. in Dumfries (22025) to investigate a robbery. The victim, a 32-year-old man, reported to police that he arranged the sale of a cell phone through the social media app “Offer Up.” The victim and the buyer, an unknown woman, agreed to meet in the above area to conduct the transaction.

During the encounter, an unknown man approached the victim, brandished a handgun and demanded his property. Once the suspect took the victim’s property, both he and the female suspect fled the area on foot. The victim went to a nearby business and contacted the police. A police K-9 responded to search for the suspects who were not located.

The victim reported two cell phones, a wallet, credit cards and an undisclosed amount of money were taken. No injuries were reported. The investigation continues.

A black woman, 5’4”, heavy set, between 20-30 years old, black hair in braids last seen wearing a grey sweater
A black male, 5’8”, thin build, between 20-30 years old, last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black pants and shoes.
