Lake Ridge area woman, 23, charged with malicious wounding

Malicious Wounding – On October 19 at 9:57PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 1700 block of Shady River Ct. in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate a domestic. The victim, a 24-year-old woman, reported to police that she and an acquaintance, later identified as the accused, were involved in a verbal altercation that escalated.

During the encounter, the accused struck the victim with her head and then grabbed a knife from the kitchen before cutting the victim in the arm. Witnesses intervened and separated the two parties before contacting the police. The victim reported minor injuries. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as Johnna Ernesteen ADAMS, was arrested.
