Woodbridge neighbor charged with abduction and burglary

Abduction with Intent to Defile | Residential Burglary – On October 19 at 12:42PM, officers responded to a residence in the Landings at Markhams Grant apartments located in the 2700 block of Landings Point Lp. in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a burglary.

The victim, a 35-year-old woman, reported to police that while she was in her residence, an acquaintance, identified as the accused, entered the home without permission through an unsecured door. The victim was on the balcony and found the accused in her room without clothing. During the encounter, the accused attempted to grab the victim multiple times after she told him to leave.

Eventually the accused left the residence and the victim contacted the police. No injuries were reported, and no property was reported missing. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as Leroy Antoine WELLS, was arrested.
