Gainesville and Woodbridge homes burglarized

Residential Burglary – On October 17 at 9:00AM, officers responded to a residence under construction located in the 5900 block of Trotter’s Point Ln. in Gainesville (20155) to investigate a burglary. The construction site manager reported to police that the burglary occurred sometime between 9:00AM on October 14 and 8:30AM on October 17. There were no signs of forced entry into the home. A shower door was reported missing.

Residential Burglary – On October 16 at 10:25AM, officers responded to a residence located in the 3900 block of Filmore Dr. in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate a burglary. The homeowner reported to police that the burglary occurred sometime between 1:30AM on October 14 and 9:30AM on October 16. The investigation revealed that entry was made into the home through the basement glass door which was found damaged. No property was reported missing.
