PWC police investigating second homicide; man shot during gathering at Woodbridge home
Homicide Investigation – On September 23 at 9:51PM, Prince William County Police Department officers responded to a residence located in the 1300 block of E St in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate a shooting.
When officers arrived at the home, they located an adult man suffering from gunshot wounds inside the home. The man was transported to an area hospital where he later died. At this time, detectives from the Homicide Unit are actively investigating the incident to determine what led up to the shooting.
The investigation has revealed that there was a gathering going on at the home during the shooting. This incident does not appear to be random. No arrest has been made in this incident. More information will be released when available. The investigation continues.
Identified: The deceased has been identified as Stonnie Ray CHAVIS, 45, of Woodbridge
