Man, 41, charged with allegedly brandishing a weapon and threatening victim, 39
Brandishing of a Firearm – On September 17 at 10:54PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 11900 block of Holly View Dr. in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate a domestic with weapons.
The victim, 39-year-old woman, reported to police that she and a family member, identified as the accused, were involved in a verbal altercation that escalated. During the encounter, the accused allegedly brandished a firearm and threatened the victim. The parties eventually separated and the victim contacted the police. Officers arrived and detained the accused without further incident.
Officers located the firearm inside of the residence. No shots were fired during the altercation. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as Patrick Joseph LINGLE, was arrested without incident.
