Public asked for clues in early morning homicide in Woodbridge
Homicide Investigation – On August 29 at 1:06AM, officers responded to the area of Bel Air Rd and Jeffries Rd in Woodridge (22191) to investigate a shots fired call. When officers arrived, they located an adult man suffering from gunshot wounds. The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
Detectives from the Homicide Unit are actively investigating the incident to determine what led to the shooting. No suspect has been identified. The investigation continues.
