PWC student, 16, arrested for allegedly stalking a Gar-Field HS female student

Abduction | Stalking – On August 27 at 8:21AM, a School Resource Officer (SRO) received information about an incident that was reported to have occurred outside of Gar-Field High School located at 14000 Smoketown Rd. in Woodbridge (22192) on August 26 at approximately 2:10PM.

The victim, a 16-year-old female student, reported to police that while she was waiting for the bus, she was approached by a former acquaintance, identified as the accused. During the encounter, the accused assaulted the victim and physically prevented her from leaving. As a result of the altercation, the victim sustained minor injuries.

The parties eventually separated, and the victim was able to leave the school while the accused left the area on foot.

The victim reported the incident to school staff the following day who then notified the SRO. In addition to this incident, the victim stated there were multiple unreported occasions during the previous school year when the accused came to the school and made threats towards the victim and her family. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as a 16-year-old male juvenile, was arrested without incident. The accused is a student of Prince William County Public Schools who does not attend Gar-Field High School.
