Residential Burglary *UPDATE – On August 2, officers obtained additional information that led to the identity of one of the suspects sought in connection to the burglary that occurred at a residence located in the 5200 block of Steidel Ln. in Woodbridge on July 11.
On August 10, following the investigation, officers obtained arrest warrants for the suspect, identified as Nicholas Kalei KAAUKAI. Attempts to locate the suspect have been unsuccessful. Officers are continuing the investigation to apprehend the accused and identify the remaining suspects involved.

Described as a white male, 6’0”, 140Lbs., with brown hair and blue eyes
Charged with burglary, conspiracy to commit felony and wearing a mask in public
Residential Burglary [Previously Released] – On July 11 at 2:00PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 5200 block of Steidel Ln. in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate a burglary in progress. The homeowner reported to police that he was asleep in a downstairs bedroom when he was awakened by a noise. When he went to investigate, he observed an unknown male with a bandana covering his face, reaching through an open window attempting to unlock the door. The homeowner confronted the suspect and the suspect fled on foot. The homeowner observed a second male dressed similarly flee on foot as well. The homeowner further heard the engine of a vehicle start up and accelerate at a high rate of speed. A police K-9 searched for the suspects who were not located. The only description of the suspects were white or Hispanic males, one with a white hoodie and jeans and the other had a grey hoodie with a black hood and jeans. No property damage or injuries were reported.
