Arrest made in Oct. 1, 2018 residential burglary; suspect arrested in Pa.

Residential Burglary *ARREST –
On August 8, detectives with the Property Crimes Unit concluded an investigation into a burglary that was reported to have occurred at a residence located in the 7700 block of Ashton Ave in Manassas on October 1, 2018.

On March 29, 2019 detectives obtained arrest warrants for the suspect, identified as Joshua Angelo BAILEY HARRIS. Following the investigation, the suspect was located and taken into custody by the U.S. Marshals Task Force in Pennsylvania on July 16. The suspect was extradited to Prince William County following the arrest.

Residential Burglary [Previously Released]– On October 1 at 11:20PM, officers responded to a residence located in the 7700 block of Ashton Ave in Manassas (20109) to investigate a burglary. The investigation revealed that the burglary occurred sometime between 8:30PM and 10:40PM. There were no signs of forced entry into the residence. A purse and keys were reported missing from inside of the residence. Money, a purse, and wallet were reported missing from a vehicle parked outside the residence.
