Suspect in recently reported abduction awaits transport to PWC

Abduction | Use of a Firearm in Commission of a Felony – On July 28, officers responded to investigate an abduction that occurred at a residence located in the 13100 block of Drew Hunter Ct. in Woodbridge (22192) on April 19.

The victim, an adult woman, reported to Prince William County police that she and an acquaintance, identified as the accused, were involved in a verbal altercation that escalated. During the encounter, the victim attempted to leave the residence when the accused grabbed her and pulled her back into the home. The accused then stood in front of the door multiple times preventing the victim from leaving. At one point, the accused pushed the victim into a corner and brandished a handgun towards her while making threats.

The victim was eventually able to leave the home. The victim recently reported the incident to police prompting the investigation.

Following the investigation, the accused, identified as Ronald Edward WEBSTER, was charged and remains incarcerated at the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center.
