Armed Robbery
On July 30 Prince William County Police officers responded to investigate a robbery that occurred at a residence located in the 15500 block of Three Otters Pl. in Manassas (20112) on July 28.
The victim, a 30-year-old man, reported to police that he made arrangements to meet an unknown woman, utilizing the mobile application “Happn” at the residence in the above area on July 28 at 10:00PM.
The investigation revealed that when the victim responded to the residence, an unknown man brandished, what appeared to be a handgun towards the victim and demanded money. During the encounter, the suspect pointed the weapon at the victim and pulled the trigger causing a liquid to be sprayed into the victim’s eyes.
The suspect took the victim’s wallet before fleeing the area in an older white UHAUL pickup truck. No injuries were reported.
The victim recently reported the incident to police prompting the investigation. The investigation continues.

Stabbing Investigation – On August 2 at 3:44AM, officers responded to a residence located in the 4600 block of Woodway Pl. in Woodbridge (22193) to investigate a stabbing.
The investigation revealed that the victim, a 32-year-old man, and an acquaintance were involved in a physical altercation. During the encounter, the victim was cut in the abdomen. The parties separated and the acquaintance left the residence.
A police K-9 and additional officers searched the surrounding area for the suspect who was not located. The victim was transported to a local area hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. The investigation continues.
