Attempted Malicious Wounding – On July 6 at 3:56PM, Prince William Police officers responded to the Walmart located at 14000 Worth Ave. in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate a disorderly.
The victim, a 69-year-old man, reported to police that while in the parking lot of the above business, an unknown man, identified as the accused, pushed a cart into his vehicle, prompting a verbal argument, according to Renee Carr, police department spokesman.The investigation revealed the accused attempted to park in a spot when he observed a cart blocking the space. The accused got out of his vehicle and pushed the cart into the victim’s vehicle and, at that point, an argument ensued, Carr said.
During the encounter, the accused quickly backed his vehicle attempting to strike the victim and ended up striking the cart return rack. The accused then left the parking lot in an unknown direction. Following the investigation, the accused, identified as Peter MAGNER, was located and arrested without further incident, the police report said.
