Strong Armed Robbery – On July 2 at 7:20PM, officers responded to Victoria’s Secret inside Potomac Mills located at 2700 Potomac Mills Cl. in Woodbridge (22192) to investigate a robbery. The victim, a 13-year-old male, reported to police that six unknown female juveniles approached him while he was talking on his cell phone.
During the encounter, the suspects sprayed the victim with perfume before being relieved of his cell phone. The suspects then fled the area on foot towards the parking lot. No injuries were reported. The victim only described the suspects as Hispanic.
Residential Burglary – On July 1 at 2:50PM, officers responded to an apartment located in the 1300 block of Eisenhower Cl. in Woodbridge (22191) to investigate an assault. The victim, a 29-year-old man, reported to police that when he arrived home there were three unknown individuals, a man and two women, on the patio of his apartment. During the encounter, the victim instructed the individuals to leave which they refused to do. When the victim attempted to close the patio door, the suspects forced their way inside while threatening the victim. The victim was able to flee the apartment to separate from the suspects and contact police. Following the investigation, one of the suspects was identified and an arrest warrant was obtained.
Attempts to locate that suspect, identified as Sophia Armani COSGROVE, have been unsuccessful. Officers are continuing the investigation to identify the remaining suspects involved.

Described as a black female 5’7”, 150lbs., with black hair and brown eyes
Wanted for burglary
Suspect Descriptions:
A black male, approximately 38 years old, 6’1”, 196lbs., with black hair and brown eyes
A black female, 5’3”, 180lbs., with long grey hair and brown eyes
Attempted Commercial Burglary – On July 2 at 12:44PM, officers responded to RJT Industries located at 14893 Persistence Drive Woodbridge (22191) to investigate an attempted burglary. An employee of the business reported to police that two of the loading bay doors were damaged overnight that activated the alarm. The investigation revealed that no entry was made into the business and no property was reported missing.
